Complaints
We aim to provide the highest standard of professional service and are focused on the concerns of our clients. If for any reason you
feel you have not received the service level expected or have an issue to raise, please, at first instance, contact Petina to discuss how
the problem may be resolved. Please email your complaint in writing to ttl@thetaxlady.com.au
. You will receive an acknowledgement within 48 business hours.
If you are unhappy with our response or believe there has been a breach, please contact the Tax Practitioners Board.
You are able to lodge your complaint online. You may attach documents to support your complaint or breach report. The TPB may also ask you to provide additional information.
Depending on whether you decide to remain anonymous, the TPB may provide a copy of your complaint to the tax practitioner you are complaining about and ask them to respond to your complaint. If you are notifying us about a ‘significant breach’, details of your breach report may also be provided to the tax practitioner you are notifying us about to enable them to respond. This is subject to any privacy concerns you may raise. Visit breach reporting for more information.
Due to laws prohibiting the disclosure of official information, the TPB may be unable to inform you of the progress or outcome of your complaint or breach report.
Who is the complaint or breach report about?
Enter the name of the individual, company or partnership that your complaint or breach report is about. Please search the TPB Register of registered and deregistered tax practitioners to identify the entity or person who you engaged for tax services or paid a fee to. If they don’t appear on the TPB Register, please include a name and any contact details supplied to you. You should also attach any correspondence you have received from the tax practitioner as this will help ensure you are entering the correct name.
