Proof Of Identity

We are required to obtain suitable proof of identity (POI) from you. Acceptable documents include any Government issued document that includes a photo of you including Passport (foreign passports are acceptable), Drivers Licence, Proof of Age Card.

In the case of a company, trust or partnership engagement, we are required to  obtain POI from each director, beneficiary and/or partner.

We will NOT retain copies of your identification – we only need to sight the document.

Individual seeking to engage the registered tax practitioner in their own right - required information 

• The Individual’s full name and either:
  • residential address; or
  • date of birth

Required evidence to be sighted

An original or certified copy of a primary photographic identification document, or both of the following:

• an original or certified copy of a primary non-photographic identification document; and
• an original or certified copy of a secondary identification document.
